- Analytical characterization of the particle size distribution of TiO2 and carbon black nanoparticles obtained from Byk-Chemie with light scattering methods (IPA)
- Selection of dispersants for binder free concentrates, preparation and characterization of the dispersed and stabilized nanoparticle concentrates in water and organic solvents, e.g. butyl acetate (IPA)
- Selection of dispersants for binder containing solvent and waterborne model paint formulations. Incorporation and stabilization of nanoparticles in the solvent and waterborne model paint formulations. Characterization of nanoparticle modified paints: particle size distribution, rheology. (IPA & Dothee)
- Determination/estimation of thermal properties of the liquid paint as input for droplet evaporation model in the numerical simulation (IPA)
